Frequently Asked Questions

How does the Bio-Feedback scan work?

The bio-feedback scan works in the quantum physics realm (quantum entanglement).  Using the new patient intake questionnaire we use your information in the SCIO machine to find your thermal thumbprint.  This allows us to scan you (just you) from afar.
Disclaimer: The EPFX-Scio is designed for stress detection and stress reduction. The device does not diagnose, heal, or cure. The system is calibrated to measure the fine and subtle electrical and subspace reactions to a group of biological and medical substances. No claims are made of the system or results.

No, Really - What does the Bio-feedback scan do?

The SCIO system scans a client's body similarly to how a virus scan does on a computer.  When prompted, it can look for everything from viruses, allergies, food sensitivities, weakness, and abnormalities. Information provided by the SCIO scan tells us about the energetic state of one's body. This resonates with thousands of tissues, organs, nutrients and toxins at 1/100 second each then records the degree at which the body reacts. This is a sophisticated program that measures resonance information between the machine and the client. SCIO utilizes electromagnetic frequencies to help align the body's electrical impulses.

Soooo will the Bio-feedback scan tell Dr. Debbie why I'm feeling so crummy?

The SCIO system does not give off "red-flags" to indicate health issues.  Dr. Debbie must investigate during the scan to detect imbalances.  This is why patient updates are so crucial - if there is something specific going on with you, she can investigate it with more ease when given a direction.  There are times that Dr. Debbie finds frequencies not mentioned in an update; the SCIO system is a tool for her to restore function back to one's body based on the findings.

How long will it take for me to start seeing results?

Each person reacts differently to each therapy.  Typically we tell our patients that it can take up to 6 months (or more) for each year that they have been experiencing any said condition/sign/symptom.
The body does not like change, so if you've had a chronic illness for a while, it could take a significant amount of time to balance your body and gain proper function.

How much is working with Dr. Debbie going to cost me each month?

Ultimately, the monthly cost for each person is going to be different depending on the health issue(s) each person has.
We find that the first month's cost for every patient is the most expensive, because it will include the new patient fee $550.00/&750.00 + cost of products.  If a new patient chooses to have Dr. Debbie profile out their genetics, there will be an additional $300.00 charge to the account plus the new patient fee plus the cost of products.
If you move forward with regularly scheduled bio-feedback scan (IHS recommends one each month until the body is balanced) you can expect your monthly charges to be $150.00 + cost of recommended products.  Now, the prices of our products range from $13.00 to $625.00, so this will greatly affect your monthly bill with IHS each month.
If you are a nutritional oncology patient of ours, we find that on average monthly expenses are slightly higher than a typical patient because of the urgent needs and products required to achieve balance and restore function in the body.
If you are on a budget, IHS will do their best to recommend products within a range that is comfortable for you.

What if I don't want a "regularly-scheduled" Bio-Feedback Scan?

Patients are not required to get "regularly scheduled" bio-feedback scans, though it is highly recommended by IHS in order to achieve a patient's health goals.  The bio-feedback scan is Dr. Debbie's greatest tool (along with a genetic analysis - to be considered the best tool) to investigate her patient's health issues.  Without the insight of the scan, proper function of the body may not be fully accomplished.
If a patient chooses to push-out their bio-feedback scan, it is recommended that they get themselves on the bio-feedback schedule for the approximate date for which they would like a scan.  With the high volume of patients that IHS has, a "call-in" for a bio-feedback could place a patient on the schedule anywhere from 2-8 weeks out, depending on the current workload of the office.  If a "call-in" occurs, and it is determined that the scan must be done immediately, a $450 Emergency Bio-Feedback Scan charge will be applied to the patient's account.
If a patient chooses not to get a bio-feeback scan done, or has decided to push-out their bio-feedback scan, but would like a modified supplement schedule based on their current signs/symptoms, there will be a $150 fee associated with the review of the patient's file and creating a protocol that Dr. Debbie feels will best fit the patient's needs at that time.
IHS reminds all patients who decide to push-out their regularly scheduled bio-feedback scans that it could take Dr. Debbie longer to balance their body and restore function.  This will likely delay the process to achieve optimal health.

Does Integrated Health Solutions, LLC take insurances?

Dr. Debbie is not a medically licensed doctor, so IHS does not accept insurances, nor do we have the ability to bill insurances.  All services must be paid for prior to, or at the time of service.  All products must be paid for prior to your order being processed and shipped.  Many of our patients are able to use their HSA/FSA (or similar) cards to pay for products and services.  IHS does not take responsibility for determining what is an appropriate charge for the card; that is at the discretion of the card holder and the policies they hold with the card.

I have a scheduled phone consultation, will IHS call me, or do I call them?

IHS has a very busy office, so we ask that all patients (or potential new patients) call in to the office at their scheduled phone consultation time, unless they have requested the Concierge Phone Service.

Will I be charged to speak with Dr. Debbie?

If you schedule a phone consultation with Dr. Debbie there will be a $60 charge for the first 30 minutes.  Any duration after that time will be pro-rated to the nearest 15 minutes.
If you have a quick question for Dr. Debbie, we still ask that you schedule it, however, if your call lasts less than 10 minutes in duration, we will not charge your account.

What can I expect in regards to IHS's Office Processes?

This is a brief overview of our processes (some line items are subject to change, and do not always follow this order):

When can I expect my product shipment?

All orders coming from our office are shipped 2-3 day priority mail (USPS).  This gets your products to you the fastest, with insurance, with tracking!
Sometimes we elect to drop-ship products to you directly from our suppliers.  Unfortunately, without additional charges, these packages can take 4-5 days to get to you.
Sometimes our products are back-ordered, so this can cause additional delay in shipment on occasion.
If you have any questions regarding your order(s), please call or email our office.

**International shipping is not always possible, but IHS does their best to accommodate**

**IHS is not responsible for ensuring packages successfully get through customs screenings**

Some of my products are being Drop-Shipped, when can I expect those products?

Sometimes IHS elects to drop-ship products to you directly from our suppliers.  Unfortunately, without [significant] additional charges, these packages can take 4-5 business days to get to you, depending on your location.  Tracking information is not always provided to our office, but in cases where it is, the IHS office staff members do their best to keep you informed.
If you have any questions regarding your order(s), please call or email our office.

Some of my products are Back-Ordered, when can I expect those products?

IHS tries eliminate back-ordered items as much as possible, however, sometimes our products are back-ordered from our suppliers.  There is no way that we can control that.  The shipment of back-ordered products heavily relies on our supplier's shipment to us.  We ask for your patience, for sometimes the delay can be up to 7 business days to us (if not longer)!  We do our best to keep our patients informed about where their shipment is, but sometimes the information is unavailable.  If a product you have ordered is back-ordered and you're curious about it's status, feel free to call/email the IHS office staff members to have them check on it for you.

I'm already a patient of Dr. Debbie's, why am I being asked to submit the New Patient Intake Questionnaire?

If it has been a significant amount of time since Dr. Debbie has worked with you, our office requests that the New Patient Intake Questionnaire be filled out so that IHS has up-to-date information on you.  This will be required prior to Dr. Debbie working on your caseload again.
Another reason that IHS may request you to fill out a New Patient Intake Questionnaire, is to update your file.  Over the years, our office has made changes and updates to many documents, procedures, and policies.  Regularly asking our patients to fill out this documentation ensures the best quality care that we can provide.  Keeping our patient files up-to-date is extremely important for our patients and our practice.

What is a gene SNP?

A SNP (sounds like "snip") is a Single Necleotide Polymorphism.  These are the most common type of genetic variation among people.  Each SNP represents a single DNA building block.

How long should I wear my Eyelights for?

It is suggested that our patients increase the amount of time they wear their eyelights, gradually.  We recommend starting at 2-3 minutes 2-3 times a day for the first week wearing them.  The second week you can try increasing the amount of time by 5 minutes.  Each week you should be able to increase the time by 5 minutes, until you work up to wearing them 30-60 minutes a day (10-20 minute sessions, 3 times a day).
You can wear your eyelights while exercising, doing basic chores, watching TV, or even reading.
